Adventure Map - Guide to Seattle
This is a guide for Seattleites and non-Seattleites alike who perhaps don’t want to just visit “tourist” spots. These are organized by area (see a neighborhood map here) though some have multiple locations. By no means is this intended to be a comprehensive guide to the whole city – it’s just to get you started. I will keep updating this page as I find new treasures.
See the full list on here on Southern Nomad.

A short vignette of Yoshi Masuda—a coffee enthusiast who is sharing his passion for coffee with victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.

Directed/Edited/Shot by Mackenzie Sheppard

it’s time for a new moleskine. this is always bittersweet… because the one I just completed is filled with so many amazing things: new music, lovely quotes, and grand memories.

milky sea.
I love that coffee cup so much! Seriously what is it about that style of glass that feels so nostalgic and fills me with such warmth.

This morning I was standing in line for my coffee.. and guess what book the woman in front of me was holding? Yup! The Hunger Games. It’s amazing how a holding a simple book can immediately tear down walls in communication… I immediately felt free to strike up conversation with her. And then after that I noticed my barista was more eager to strike up conversation as well. This is just one of the many reasons I like books.

the coffee experiment.

i know several people who would love their full time jobs to consist of coffee tasting & reviewing. quite a few seattleites are self titled coffee aficionados (if not all). well now there is a blog we can all live vicariously through, the coffee experiment - elizabeth traverses the world to sip and write about coffee.

what dreams do you have for your life?

start making the small steps to seeing them realized.
